This is our first flatscreen TV, and put a lot of research into it before purchasing. The Toshiba wasn't the most expensive brand, but not the cheapest either. The HD is great, and the TV itself is easy to use- the remote control and functions are all simple and quick to learn. I'm very happy with our purchase.
