Not worth it It really doesn't do anything. It doesn't stay on the skin long. It just really has no noticeable effect or great feel or anything like that. It's cheap and just not worth the money. It also smells kind of weird. I would not buy it again or recommend it.
It's a good primer for the price but the pump stopped working even though there was still plenty of products still inside the bottle. Also, the primer feels a little oily. With this primer a little goes a long way, and I found it's best to just pump it once and use the product all over your face. It does make my skin feel smooth, but it also is oily and needs time to set in.
I purchased the luminous product, it has yellow and gold undertones. I love the feel of the product but it has many sparkly shimmer type reflectiveness to it. It could be better of it didnt have that but overall i love it
I'm beginning to have a few fine lines and I find that this primer helps with those in addition to helping my other skin products last longer. It has an odd, slightly silicone or plastic feel as you apply it to your face, but it is very comfortable to wear. Really helps hide minor imperfections!
I use this everyday under my makeup. I find it amazing for the price. It does help my makeup go on amazingly smooth which I love. I don't find that it helps much with filling in my pores or wrinkles, but that's not a big concern for me so I like it mostly for how it feels on my skin and how it makes my makeup application easier and smoother but if you're really looking for a correcting primer I would look elsewhere.
This is a great primer to start out with. very affordable and does what it needs to.
For the price, this primer is as good as it gets! It smoothes out pores without melting. My foundation lasted 7 hours before it began to get oily.
great pimer but bad smell.
Great primer and cannot beat the price. I found this just as good as my smashbox primer for a fraction of the cost. The only thing I didn't like is the packaging, it's a small amount in there and after a while it didn't dispense anymore, when i took the top off there was plenty left but I couldn't get it out with the pump and had to use something to scoop some out.
for elf it is not a bad product but some may not like the way it sits on your fave although it did not bother me. it makes your skin appearance smoother but does not prolong the wear of it.
This product is nice because it helps your makeup last all day. I have combination/oily skin and I didn't like packing on the makeup to make it last throughout the day, so I decided to try E.L.F.'s mineral face primer and was surprised at how well it works. One thing to do is to allow it to dry before you apply makeup. I usually allow five-ten minutes for it to set before I put on my foundation. It is clear and lightweight, so it doesn't feel as if you have anything on. You must also store it upright, otherwise product is difficult to get out. It is worthy more than the price as well.
Normal/Dry skin, works fine, but I think it leaves my skin a little oily at the end of the day, but washing my face takes care of that.
I am in love with this product & its great for combination/oily skin. I can really tell a difference when I use it for my foundation. Great product plus E.L.F has great products & really cheap prices. (:
Can I just say that e.l.f.'s face primer is absolutely wonderful. I had tried other primers and my makeup wouldn't stay and my face would end up greasier than when I started. But since I started using e.l.f.'s face primer I have noticed that my makeup stays put even in the hot Florida sun. My makeup is also going on more smoothly and evenly which I love and my face is not all greasy either. I only use one pump of the primer and it covers my entire face, so the saying "a little goes a long way" does apply. I also have sensitve skin so this is a great product for my face, no reactions what-so-ever. And you really can't beat the fact that it only costs $6.00!
A Magic Find I am a complete beauty product snob. I usually shop only at Sephora for makeup, and swear by brands such as Makeup Forever, Nars, Benefit, Urban Decay, etc. However, I one day found myself in a bind, and just could not afford to go and spend $30+ on a new primer. So, I went up to my local drug store in search of an alternative to get me by. The ONLY primer in the store was the ELF Mineral Primer. I admit that I was a bit worried about the quality, seeing it's very low price. But, I was in need, so I bought it. I was SO surprised! It was easily just as good as the Smashbox primer! I could not believe it! It minimized my pores, created a smooth canvas for my foundation, and allowed my makeup to last throughout the day! Needless to say, this is now my go-to primer. My one complaint is that they just do not put enough product in the bottle. However, at such a low price, I am able to stock up whenever needed.
