For me these brushes are just okay.... I think they are too scratchy, well at least the face brushes are. They are good vaule though. If your looking for a good priced brush, here it is! But personally I think saving up and purchasing a higher quality brush (like eco tools) is going to benefit you more : )

the eyeshadow brushes a great value, the face brushes fall short

the only 2 i use is the shadow brush and the flat liner brush! i use these daily! i sometimes use the spoolie and the smudger! Not a huge fan of the face brushes... but the ones i mentioned here are great!

i don't love all of these, but some are quite nice. The eyeshadow brush in particular is great...i have 4, and i like the studio brushes as well (better quality than the regular line). If you were to buy one brush, make it the eyeshadow brush!

Some brushes are a bit scratchy (any that look like they have the red fibres). I also wish this kit came with sometype of case or roll because I ruined some early on not storing them properly and this is the only elf set without a case. Some of the eye brushes are my absolute favourites and I use them daily. Would recommend purchasing brushes separately and not as a set. Choose only the brushes you want/need, there is no savings in purchasing a full set.

The white brushes from E.L.F. that used to be called the "professional" line which is now changed to the "essential" line are decent depending on which ones you get. The eyeshadow brushes are great for a dollar. They are very fluffy and soft. The down side is that depending on the actual brush you get, the quality changes. The actual bristle amount and shape can be different. Sometimes where the brush connects to the handle will fall off. A lot of times the hairs do shed but it's really no big deal. The face brushes are a bust though. Don't even bother. They are scratchy. But...if you want to have eyeshadow brushes that you don't mind throwing away after a while or don't mind losing, the eyeshadow brushes are great for that purpose!!!

I recently brought some brushes. So good so far.

I love e.l.f. and their affordable makeup, but I think the brushes need work. I purchased my first set at my local Target for only $10! I was excited to use them, and they were okay for a while, but they don't last long. The handles always come off even when washing and laying them flat so I know it's not me. The glue comes off after a while. The brushes I think you should buy are the eye shadow brushes. They are amazing at packing on eye shadow. They also last the longest, and I never had problems with them.

I own all the brushes from e.l.f. The one dollar brushes are ok, the 3 dollar ones are GREAT! Love these brushes, try them all at only a few bucks a piece

I recently received my first ELF order. Got 3 of their brushes then and I've since ordered 2 more...they're great. Unbelievable quality for the price. Smell a little funky when you first take them out of the plastic covers, but wash with your favorite brush cleaner and they're fine. Very little shedding and they're SO soft!

my favorite brushes from this line are the eyeshadow brush, blending brush and defining brush.. they are all soo soft! i'm not a fan of the total face brush because it sheds a lot, but they're great for $1 a piece

I love all of them except the total face brush. I can't figure out what to use it for, its not dense enough to put on foundation, bronzer, or blush etc. I can only use it to wipe away fallout which I don't really have issues with. All the rest are amazing though

Honestly for a 1.00 a brush (studio line is a couple dollars more and black handled), these brushes are pretty fabulous. Mine kept me satisfied until for whatever reason the brush became unglued to handle. Try the crease brush, AMAZING for us women with small eye creases!!

i love these brushes, for only $1.00 each +tax its well worth it! they are so soft!

I love these brushes! the only one i don't really use or like is the foundation brush. The product seems to just get soaked into the bristles and leaves stroke marks. All the other ones are AMAZING!!! highly recommend!!
