When I used the Smooth Away Hair Remover on my legs it did nothing but scratched up my skin. It was very painful and and did nothing for the hair on my legs.

It might work if you want to spend countless hours trying to remove hair from your body, I'd rather just shave instead. It takes forever to make the hair go away and doesn't exactly feel good against the skin.

I had heard prematurely great results about this product from a friend and ran out and bought it. Within days the friend told me it wasn't as great as she initially though--and I agree. Sure, the smooth away gets rid of the hair on my legs and makes my skin feel really smooth, but you can use each pad only once--and it only comes with 4 large and 4 small pads. Meaning: You get only 4 "good shaves" with the 10 bucks you spend on the product. The small pads are supposed to be for things like under arms or facial hair--I only attempted to use it on my underarms and I might as well have rubbed a cheese grater under there. It didn't remove ANY of my underarm hair and left me with what felt like excruciating razor burn. Really not worth the 10 bucks; I'd rather just shave.

I'm sure the majority of us have seen the "Smooth Away" infomercials on TV. And they seem absolutely amazing! But what they really are is amazingly disappointing. :-( I bought into the impression given by the participants in the infomercial for this product. So when I saw Smooth Away for sale at CVS pharmacy, I just had to give it a try. Come on, not having to soap up and shave? Dream come true! But when I got it home and gave it a try, I was sorely let down. I tried the product on my legs, which aren't abnormally hairy, but nothing happened- even though I followed the directions, the hair still remained. I went back to shaving, and decided to give the Smooth Away product another try when there was just a slight bit of hair growing back after shaving- and in that case, it seemed to work a bit. In addition, it does work well for exfoliation. But that's not the sole purpose intended for this product. In addition, I'm sure there are better products available for exfoliation. With that said, that is why I have rated this product so poorly.

Dumb product! does not work. Waist of time. It barely takes anything off! you have to rub hard which irritates skin...

I was so excited to buy it and was so mad when it didn't work! It removed my skin but not my hair. It is much easier to shave and if you hate shaving so much, just laser it off.

I bought this product and was so excited to use it when I got home. Boy was I disapointed! It is very had to use -- takes forever to get one spot hair free and if your try your underarms your arms and shoulders hurt before your even half way done. I went back to my trusty old razor the next day.

Hated it. Dries out skin. Left an odd smell. I figured since it was only $10 it wouldn't be a huge loss if it didn't work....I was wrong. Its that dumb.

This product is awful. All it did was scratch my legs up, it didn't remove the hair at all.

Mine didn't hurt me, it just did NOT work at all. I rubbed in the same spot for forever with NO results. What a waste of money!

This product is not how i thought it would be. I bought one for my daughters and it seemed to take forever to use and your don't get that good of results. Plus the pads wear out real quick and they don't sell just the pads at stores. I wouln't reccomend getting this product.

i was planning to buy one.. but nvr mind americans should invent one that works and not from other counrties...

oh yeah, and it takes a long time to remove hair in just a small area..

Horrible!!! It doesn't remove hair AT ALL. All it does is irritate your skin. I can't believe they even put this on the market.

Don't waste your money.
