I am running out of ideas for holiday snacks and appetizers. I really need new ideas for family gatherings and group parties.

I rely on read-made foods from Trader Joe's. But good luck with your holiday recipes.

My granddaughters and I made the cute little acorn treats. Ages 2, 5, & 9 were all able to participate. They enjoyed making them for a fall hot dog roast. Put chocolate icing on the flat side of a Hershey's kiss then place the flat side of a mini vanilla wafer on the chocolate icing. Top it off with a dab of peanut butter (we used toothpicks to apply the dab of peanut butter) to the center top of the wafer and stick the flat side of a butterscotch or peanut butter chip onto the dab of peanut butter. The result was a platter of sweet acorn treats!
