The holiday season is here and I love hosting events for friends and family. I always like to put out a variety of drinks, so I would love to know what your favorite holiday drinks are (wines, cocktails, fun non-alcoholic drinks) that would pair well with the traditional holiday meals.

We made up a cocktail and I love serving it at the holidays! We call it "The Bergen" and it's Bourbon, Old Fashioned Bitters, Lemon Wedge, and top with Ginger Ale (I like to get a fancy kind like Boylan's!). It'll warm you right up :)

Our family holiday drink is 1/3 each orange juice, cranberry juice and ginger ale. If you wanted it to be adult you could add vodka. Always a hit and something we always look forward to!

Our favorite is a warmed Glühwein or a German mulled wine.

I think a delicious hot cider would be great!

My favorite is an easy warm drink that is perfect for Thanksgiving or the Christmas season. Hot apple cider with Fireball whiskey. I've found that cider k-cups are the easiest if you have a Keurig (or equivalent) machine, and just a little of the cinnamon whiskey goes a long way with flavor. Enjoy!

Homemade chai tea latte with hot almond milk and stevia and chai tea bags of choice...adding an extra dash of cinnamon, too. Hot vanilla with almond milk, stevia and pure vanilla extract heated on the stove.

For the grownups, sangria is a surefire bet! There are a million recipes but a family friend used to mix red wine, rose, vodka, brandy, and fruit, which is really mixing 2 different types of sangria. You can chill out all this alcohol by adding gingerale but be careful not to make it too sweet. IMPORTANT rule of thumb: make it the night before and soak your fruit in the sangria for "drunken fruit." This is a pretty good guide here: https://mic.com/articles/148684/how-to-make-sangria-red-white-rose-no-recipe#.5Ds6BR4Na Then go make the kids a fruity punch that LOOKS the grown-up kind but is "spiked" with Sprite :)

We always have apple cider with cinnamon sticks! The cinnamon sticks is what makes it so special and delightful!
