What are some of the differences in the way you support men vs. women?

Personally, I think I support men and women the same ways. Atleast I try to. I know men are more about doing amd activities and bond that way and women are about words and deep and long talks a lot but I try to do both with both sexes because I also try not to make it about gender and more about the person's preference and what works best for them.

I will support men that I know (if they aren't jerks, I try not to know them, but you know, we live in a society), but I make more of an effort to support women because we live in a sexist society
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ However, if an individual woman is a jerk (e.g., perpetuates sexism), I would support her getting justice for sexism against her, but she
would not be my priority and otherwise would not support her.

I feel that I support women and men the same emotionally. I listen and try to get the most conversation from both.

I support both men and women and support them with the same things just in different ways. For instance, a male friend of mine is not really emotional, he just needs to talk through things, so I just listen. I have a female friend who needs to fly off the handle and vent and she wants feedback. I offer them both support and give them both what they need. It is about adapting and knowing the way people need help. Don't be afraid to ask how you can support them. Some just need you to listen and not offer any advice and some want all you got!
