How are you handling your children being home? Are they distance-learning? What strategies have helped you with your kids at home?

yes - we are keeping our kids home from daycare. Lots of planning, and sharing childchare responsibilities has helped us. trying to maintain a routine!

My daughter was given a bunch of work to take home. Her dad is helping a lot with the schoolwork. I'm working from home during this time, thankfully. Her teacher is planning a FaceTime with all the girls in her class which will be nice.

My kids are home and doing remote learning. One has online instruction with a live teacher and classmates, the other is doing self-paced learning.

My three kids are home. My twins are in 2nd grade and have combined paper packets/work and are using google classroom. My son is in 5th grade and has 100% online learning on a platform and some live classes with the teacher. It has been very hard to help everyone, keep up and establish a routine while my husband and I work from home.

My adult daughter lives with us but has finished college.  Other kids from elementary to high school are at their homes and people in college are doing online.

I have 3 kids at home. My oldest daughter is 13 and the twins are 7. They all started off getting packets from their school, that we had to go and pick up. The primary school changed that since that have been able to go completely online. The teachers post letters and homework schedules every 2 weeks, we teach our kids with books that we received the first time we picked up packets, and then they do weekly tests online. My oldest daughter has to go to the school every other Monday to turn in her work from the last 2 weeks and pick up a new packet, however, she is still able to do some work online.

My children are doing zoom classroom and receiving school assignments electronically. It is working out well so far. They do their work each day without complaining. They do miss going to school for the personal interaction with their friends and teachers. They do have online chats with their friends so that does help them keep connected with their friends.
