The city of heavenly fire by Cassandra Clare, I started the first of the series and got hooked. I am also reading pride and prejudice by Jane Austen which I started after watching the movie pride and prejudice and zombies, I wanted to know the real version, which is very amazing.

The Kingkiller Chronicles is by far my absolute favorite book! It is beautifully written. There is sadness, tragedy, beauty, internal magic, wit, compassion, love, and depth. I truly felt as though I grew with the character as he deals with normal (and abnormal) adolescence.

I am reading "The Radium Girls" by Kate Moore. It is about a group of young women who were employed as dial painters before the harmful health effects of radiation were known. It details their fight for justice as they began to develop cancers from their work, work which their employers swore could not have caused them any harm even as more and more evidence to the contrary showed up. It is a good picture of a time when there were far fewer laws in place to protect workers.
