The past few months i have really been dedicated to saving money, I have even gone as far as to have a coupon book and have clipped sooooooooo many coupons, is anyone else into couponing? I love hearing stories of other people's experiences.

So am I. But not at the level you are. Many coupons expire in 30 days, so I only get as far as a large divider. And I am still trying for a half off grocery run. It hasn't happened yet. But I'm getting there!

get involved in stores that has membership cards, i use kroger and price chopper, they have free membership cards, with kroger you can load your coupons to your card before you shop, once you check out, slide the card for your savings and coupons, I collect my coupons from Sunday inserts, online, thru samples, and thru membership cards, , even if you don't want to be a complete coupon freak, it is worth the investment to start a coupon book, having your coupons on hand for every trip is a great way to get savings!, also, get all the sales ad's you can and once you have your coupon book made, it will make it easier to compare sales with different stores and what coupons you have- (the secret is to match your coupons with current sales, you can use a manufacturer coupons, a store coupon when you catch the items on sale AND that's how you get big savings $$$$!!! its worth it for sure, !!!

Couponing is my absolute favorite thing to do. Who doesn't want to be handed "free money?" I have membership cards for every store that offers them in the city in which I live. I even have membership cards for a few stores around the city I live. I also called literally every single store and asked if they doubled coupons. Some stores don't, some stores double to .50 cents, and some even double to $1.00. Some stores will even let you "stack coupons." They will let you use a manufacturer coupon and store coupon for the same item. I love to shop a lot at Walgreen's or CVS as they will have items such as women's razors that are (for example) $4.99 but when you pay for that item at the register the register will print out a coupon of the value that you spent on the razor. I than turn around and use that coupon on another item such as laundry soap. I will do as many transactions as I can like this and end up with a whole bunch of free items. I love couponing!! :)

That extreme couponing show and greedy people have ruined couponing for the normal person. Our local store that doubled all coupons up to $1.00 will no longer double ANY coupons. That is going to hurt. I relied a lot on double dollar coupons. Once again the greed of some has ruined it for all.

I like to use coupons to save money, but I am not an extreme coupon shopper. I like the Kroger/Fred Meyer reward card that allows you to load coupons. I plan to research couponing so that I can save more on our grocery budget.
