Right now I am reading everything written by Jodi Picoult. Right now I am reading Picture Perfect. I have also recently read Keeping Faith, The Pact and My Sister's Keeper. She is a very good author and keeps you interested. I also read every article in National Geographic magazine. I love magazines. I will read almost anything.

I love to read and set a goal of 52 books a year. Ambitious I know, but sometimes I can just zip through a book. I have several writers that I follow closely: - Lee Child, who if you have never read him, is awesome. His books are intense and fast moving thrillers, Iris Johansen - who writes about forensic reconstruction and crime fighting, Lisa Jackson, Lavyrle Spencer, Mary Higgins Clark. I like to read a wide variety of books but can get caught up in a story and spend every possible moment being swept away.Just finished "Simple Genius" by David Baldacci. He has a wonderful way of portraying his charaters that makes you feel like you know them personally.

So I'm one of those readers who will be forever caught in the young adult phase of literature... LOVE that stuff. I have a feeling that when I have children old enough to read young adult fiction, we'll be sharing the books. My favorite author from the genre is Megan McCafferty. Her current series is ok ("Bumped" and "Thumped"), but what I REALLY love is her Jessica Darling series. With titles like "Sloppy Firsts," "Second Helpings," and "Charmed Thirds," how can you not fall in love with this series? The series consists of five books, which take the narrator (Jessica Darling) from high school, through college, and into her adult life. I highly recommend the first four books, but the fifth book isn't the best. Once you read the first four, though, you'll HAVE to read the fifth one anyway. There's no way you won't finish the series. For those of you also in love with young adult lit, I'd highly recommend foreveryoungadult.com.

I like to read books, but not sure if anyone else reads these types??? I like reading true crime books by Ann Rule. It just interests me. The saddest book I read from her was called "Every Breath You Take" They are all sad cause of what happens to them but they do get some justice and some go on never knowing what happened to the victim at all? I do like Steven King also, scary just like his movies, LOL!

Lisa Gardner, a New England local is my favorite. My second favorite is Harlan Coben, followed by Mary Higgins Clark. They all leave me at the edge of my seat when I read their books.

Based on your comments about the book I decided to order a copy. It should arrive in a few days. I look forward to reading it.

The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls is the best book. Ever. I also LOVED the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich, absolutely hilarious. The movie, One for the Money, was surprisingly good as well. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, The Giver by Lois Lowry, and The Help by Kathryn Stockett are some of my favorites too.
