When you eat out with friends, do you split the bill evenly, contribute just what you ate, or take turns paying? Do you use Venmo, PayPal, credit cards, cash or something else? How has this changed since mobile payments became commonplace? Tell us your favorite bill-paying strategies and you'll be entered to win $25 toward your next meal (paid how you want to spend it: Venmo, PayPal, or Amazon gift card!) Usually we just split the bill and pay with credit cards.

We do separate checks. Let the server know ahead of time and they are generally accommodating. I use PayPal frequently for other transactions and business, but rarely for eating out.

We usually just get the check split and pay with our own cards, or one person pays.

All of the above: sometimes we split the check, sometimes we just pick up the tab, it all depends.

I always pay cash and give the server a tip in cash too. My friends tend to use their credit cards so then they pay separately and ask to split the check so that is easier for them. A few friends take turns paying and then we reciprocate so that works out.

When I go out with a girlfriend, we just take turns. We don?t worry about costs we just have a good time.

I would usually hacmve tumhe server split the bill and would pay with either cssh or credit card! If it was a special occasion I might pick up the tab for my friends! I usually would use a credit card.

For the most part, get the bill split by what each person had order. By couple or individually. Sometimes if it isn't a lot of money, someone will pay for all of it and than the other person will get the bill the next time.
Unless someone offered to pay prior.
