The courage of the members of the US women's gymnastics team in telling their stories publicly, in court, is inspiring. And I always find Oprah Winfrey inspiring.

Minister Bernice King has recently inspired me. For those who may not know her, she is the youngest daughter of Dr. Reverend Martin Luther King Jr and Coretta Scott King. I listened to her speak at a tribute for her father at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta on MLK Day this year. She is definitely following in the footsteps of both her parents and continuing on their legacies. It really inspired me to know that she has been actively fighting for change in the world and what role I can play to do the same.

my mom - she isnt a celebrity but to me she really created a home where i would feel comfortable to ask questions, explore my creativity and feel safe. i think parents really help inspire and mold the future

I?m inspired by the blind who still get around. I?m inspired by all who have lost limbs that keep on going. I?m inspired by the sign language of the death. I?m inspired by all those that won?t give up and keep a positive attitude and keep going strong with still kind heart. That inspires me to look deeper into our living and relationships with all others.

All women speaking up & out inspire me. In my culture it is expected & taught to keep quite, don't cause drama & the male is the dominate one. My mom & I have broken that cycle. We speak up when ever we need to take a stand for our rights, thoughts, actions. Gone are the days of subservient rules.
