After years of working for someone else, I finally took the leap and started my own business. It was tough in the beginning, but things are getting better every day... and I'm incredibly proud of myself for stepping into the unknown and making it work.
I created a rainbow painted canvas that I'm really proud of.
It seems a bit silly, but I am so proud of a design I did that will be the logo for a new school in our district. It was an honor to be asked to design it, and it will be unveiled in a few weeks. I am excited because I am a clerical substitute with the school system and my design will be on shirts and the building and school documents. So exciting.

I am happy to share that I love crocheting amigurumi (stuffies). I have made many for various family members and friends.
I've written a few novels now. None of them are traditionally published, but it's still a wonderful feeling when the first draft is finally completed and ready for revisions.
I live with my aunt, who is battling cancer. I've been working hard to come up with meals and treats that appeal to her and support her healing. She's been particularly fond of my breads - especially a no-knead olive focaccia.
