Trend 1: Salmon Bagel Cucumber Salad
Sometimes you just need to eat an entire cucumber. TikTok user @logagm went viral recently for his “cucumber of the day” videos that have created a fresh food trend with items you might have at home. Let’s talk about the best way to do it:

What you’ll need
  • Container with a lid, Cucumber, Whipped Chive Cream Cheese, Smoked Salmon, 1/2 Avocado, Red Onion, Capers, Everything But the Bagel Seasoning, MSG
How to:
  • Thinly slice Cucumber and Red Onion into the container
  • Add about a tablespoon of the Whipped Chive Cream Cheese
  • Chop up Smoked Salmon and add it to the container
  • Add Capers and 1/2 Avocado
  • Season with Salt, Pepper, Everything But the Bagel Seasoning, and MSG
  • Snap on the lid. Shake it up and enjoy!

How To:
  • On a charcuterie board or parchment paper, spread softened butter
  • Fold in the Chili Crunch

  • Top with Lemon Zest, Flakey Sea Salt, and Chives
  • Chop your toasted Sourdough into even strips

Trend 3: Tanghulu
This Chinese candied fruit treat is perfect for any fruit lover, and it’s as fun to make as it is to eat. Although you can use any fruit you’d like, the most popular trending choices include strawberries, grapes, and mango. We will be following Kearah’s steps.

What you’ll need
  • Your fruit of choice (Strawberries, Grapes, Mango), Granulated Sugar, Water, Skewers, Pot/Pan
How To:
  • After washing and drying your fruit, Put your fruit on a skewer
  • Add 1 cup of sugar into a pan and layer ½ cup of water on top (Don’t mix!)
  • Prepare an ice bath, get a bowl and fill it with ice and water
  • Put the pan to high heat, once it begins to bubble, turn it down to about medium heat
Tip: To check if sugar is hot enough, dip the edge of a skewer into the pan and then the ice bath. If it hardens, it’s ready for your skewered fruit!
  • Once your sugar is ready, gently dip your skewered fruit into the sugar making sure it’s completely coated
  • Then immediately dip it into the ice bath
  • Congratulations, you just made Tanghulu

They each sound very interesting. But the question is which one to choose? Maybe the salmon, cucumber salad would be healthiest.
