Whether you're shopping for electronics, cosmetics, clothing, or something else, more and more women are turning to product reviews to help in their purchasing decisions. Some are looking up reviews before heading to the store, while others are looking up reviews while already in the store!
We recently conducted a survey where we asked you, our members, to share your thoughts on product reviews and how they influence your purchases.
Check out some of the results below. Do you agree... or not? Tell us and enter for the chance to win a $25 Visa gift card!
As always, thanks for sharing your thoughts with us!

I agree with all the results
I agree, I often consult reviews before buying, especially if I'm trying to decide between different products.
I'm surprised that the percent of women consulting reviews for clothing is higher than it is for cars!
I totally agree with the huge % of women that consult reviews before purchasing! It's hard for me to buy something new without reading at least one review.
I will look up reviews for products that are costly. Also, if it is a new product I may look up a review to see what other people are saying before I try it.
I agree with the statement that 96% of women have sought out a product review, i do it all the time and i know many others who do as well
I agree with all of this.
I agree with the results. I consult product reviews before making purchases and my friends do as well.
When it comes to entertainment or any form of media, I usually only trust the negative reviews
I read both negative and positive reviews because they can both be unintentionally misleading. The reason being what might work for one person, may not work for another. For instance, when choosing a computer, I would read both negative and positive reviews and then base my choice on my needs alone. If I need a gaming type of computer then I would focus on the reviews that focus on the gaming capabilities. If I just need a basic computer, though, then I'm not going to be concerned if most of the negative reviews were about the unit's poor gaming abilities, etc.
I always look for reviews before purchasing an item.
reviews rock
I prefer to buy clothes in a store, but sometimes I buy online & I always read the reviews. If more people give it a negative review I will not purchase the item.
I mostly agree, but it depends on the content of the review. The more details of a real experience the better. Freebies where someone just says, "Great product, or Works great," aren't convincing.
