When my dad was deployed overseas he found out he was able to take a quick trip home for Thanksgiving. He flew 23 hours just to be with us for one day, and then flew 23 hours back. He now lives across the country and if I ever need him, he doesn’t hesitate to drop everything and hop on a plane. - Melissa
My grandfather helped me buy my first car when I was 17 and always changed my oil and helped maintain the car for me. I liked spending that time with him and to a 17-year-old with her first car, it meant a lot to me! - Stephanie
My husband, Drew, has been drawing some cartoons of my daughter Franny occasionally - and posts them on the Instagram page he created for her called frannypancakes. She loves seeing the drawings of herself and it's really sweet for me to remember some of our funny moments with her. - Emily

I'm an only child and single parent, my parents were divorced. When my 2 children was 2 and 7 I lost my job, I was only getting about $175 a week for unemployment. I Was out of work for 2 years. My Dad sent me extra money every month and helped out with the kids Christmas until I found another job. He still. Helps out when I'm struggling some.
Just being proud of me since my mom passed on 30 years ago and complementing my good cooking and baking skills, and taking care of my mom and brothers too besides total household . Just a good hug and talking about everything when we had dinner was the best.

By not enabling me when I was messing up my life, but always being there for me no matter where I was at in life. Loving me no matter what, and being there with open arms when I decided to turn my life around for the better.
Raised me and my 2 amazing sisters!
drove me across the country!
My dad was always supportive and raised my sister and I to know we could do anything just as well as a guy! He was in Army so we learned to fish, camp, you name it!
Just being there and giving unconditional love.
When my dad was alive, I could always count on his support.
He has been an amazing role model showing the family how to respond when faced with adversity.
I came from a split family. My step dad became a huge influence on my life especially in my younger formative years. He taught me to love and respect myself and to go for what I want in life. I would never have become who I am without his love and support. I couldn't have asked for a better role model and friend.
He has provide for his family and shows us how to be a hard worker.
Gotten me my job!
My dad drops everything anytime I need anything. He is the one person in the world I can always rely on.
My dad taught me how to drive in an empty church/school parking lot when I was 12. He was patient and a great teacher. When I took drivers ed at 16 my Teacher never made me complete all of the drives...he said I was the best student he had ever taught (thanks dad).
