When my dad was deployed overseas he found out he was able to take a quick trip home for Thanksgiving. He flew 23 hours just to be with us for one day, and then flew 23 hours back. He now lives across the country and if I ever need him, he doesn’t hesitate to drop everything and hop on a plane. - Melissa
My grandfather helped me buy my first car when I was 17 and always changed my oil and helped maintain the car for me. I liked spending that time with him and to a 17-year-old with her first car, it meant a lot to me! - Stephanie
My husband, Drew, has been drawing some cartoons of my daughter Franny occasionally - and posts them on the Instagram page he created for her called frannypancakes. She loves seeing the drawings of herself and it's really sweet for me to remember some of our funny moments with her. - Emily

Helped me through school!
What's something wonderful a dad in your life has done? Thought a lot about this question and then I saw what one of my nephew's post on his face book page. - "There's nothing better than to have a dad tell his son he's proud of him 💯" And remembered other remarks from nieces - "Dad brought his mower over and cut my grass, cause he knew I was busy at work." - "Dad gave me the money I needed for my tires because he wanted me to be safe". .... Just a few of the things they have mentioned about their dads!
He has been there for the good and the bad
My dad hasn't just done one wonderful thing; my dad IS wonderful. My dad is the greatest man that I know. My dad has taught me the importance of caring for others, for loving nature and taking care of God's creations. My dad has taught me the importance of hard work and of saving money. He is a great man and I am honored to call him my dad. When I got on the school bus for the very first time, he said, ?Make me proud.? From that day forward, it's been a privilege to try to make him proud and it's been an absolute joy watching him teach the lessons he taught me, to my daughter.
Happy Fathers day
Rescued me when my car broke down!
A dad in my life has always been there for me when I need a helping hand or an ear to listen
My father-in-law taught me how to drive a stick shift car. That took a lot of patience, let me tell you!
My dad has been supportive and loving my entire life. I couldn't ask for a better dad.
My dad passed away 11 years ago. I miss him alot. He was the best dad in the world.
I had been divorced from my husband for several years, I had been saving for a house and I lived in this in-expensive, crumby, apartment and my dad on father's day came over with a brand new air-conditioner and said Happy Father's Day! I loved it! I rated that as one of the best presents I had ever received.
My dad always spent a lot of time with me growing up, even though I'm a girl. We had so much fun building forts together, going to parks, and have battles with cowboys and indians.
Helping out with the kids without being asked
Raise me!
My dad was always there to cheer me on in my softball games.
