There could be a foot of snow outside your window, or it could be sunny without a cloud in the sky. Either way, snowball cookies, submitted by Peachesncream887, are a festive way to celebrate winter. You can easily double the recipe so you can give them away in batches. Just make sure to have extra - it will be hard to resist popping these in your mouth while you wrap them up!
Because no dessert selection is complete without chocolate, try this irresistible fudge from emma0420. They are easy to cut into small bites for any holiday table, or convenient to wrap in a pretty box for a wonderful gift. Best part - you can customize the flavors. This version has walnuts and marshmallows, but you can easily put in peppermint crumbs, raisins, pretzel bits, candy pieces or whatever else you prefer. It's even a fun project to make with the kids.
Sure, you can buy a pumpkin pie, but it will never taste as good as homemade. And with this simple recipe from Hywelda9, you'll never have to eat sub-par pie again. This one's extra special thanks to a secret ingredient: honey. Serve it at your own holiday meal, or give one to anyone who's hosting. This dish is sure to get sweet reviews!
Don't forget the cookies at holiday time! You can hand out these sweet cookies from savingsmania in your cookie exchange, or make an extra batch to have ready if neighbors stop by. Top them with crushed candy cane when you make them for the holidays, or prep them as is, any time of the year.
