The frozen food company, Lean Cuisine, recently conducted an experiment to see how women make life decisions. The "#ItAll" campaign found that women make different choices when they are alone versus with supportive friends.
Though Lean Cuisine tried to show that they are supportive of women, the campaign, along with the video they released about it, has caused some serious backlash on social media.

Yes they men should have been included. Equity right?
I believe the real purpose of this experiment is not being explored or understood. What I see is a celebration of women being honest and talking about what they really want and value for their lives, not "leaving men out" of the experiment. Not once in the video above did I hear the word "diet" or "men can't have it all". I am happily single with children, a cancer and abuse survivor, and I'm putting myself and my children first. I personally don't think it is misguided, and I think this should be about empowering women. I don't care if men get mad they weren't included.
I think everyone should have been included. Why should #ItAll be targeted at Women. Why do I want to have it all. Think it is just adding to the Women who stay at home raising a family versus the Women who opt to work controversy. Kudos to those who can have it all but please don't set that as a goal for everyone!
I like Lean Cuisine. But men should have been included, too, preferably. ;)
I LOVE the concept and the idea, the video was a little confusing how ever...

While I understand the backlash, I think making good choices for yourself is important. I am 5'2", and my daily calorie count is restricted by how small I am. But I still want to indulge! I want to have it all - great food and a great body. I think this campaign was meant for people like me, but not everyone (and maybe they should be more inclusive).
I think it is misguided when it comes from a company that specializes in prepared foods. I feel having it all is prepping fresh foods for yourself and your family if you have one. Also having it all is living the life you really want to live not the one you are forced to live because of the need to make money to survive. I would have it all if I could win that lottery as having money would allow me to live how I want to.
I feel that everyone should be included with this
I appreciate Lean Cuisine's experiment. It is a sad fact that in our society women struggle a lot more with "work/life balance" or "having it all." That's not Lean Cuisine's doing. I think Lean Cuisine is doing something valuable by examining what women want and bringing to light a lot of important insights.
I definitely think not only women but men should of been included in this study. I also think that who you surround yourself with influences your decisions, that's why you should always surround yourself with positive influences.
It is good to have conversation, men should be included too
I don't know, it seems like a lot of drama just to show that people are influenced by their friends. I'm not surprised that it's aimed at women. Women are Lean Cuisine's main target market.
To me #ItAll means that I am in a comfortable place financially and physically. Feeling strong and able to positively influence others in my life.
Not a fan of the whole concept of a company trying to act like they care about anything but their bottom line. Very transparent to me.
