Dr, Martha McGuiffie. She was a plastic surgeon who founded SHARE. I was involved in founding. The organization was committed to eradicating AIDS in Kenya. She was a servant leader. She worked to help local charities as well as practicing medicine. She also had 8 kids!

My mom inspired me the most! At almost 89 years old, she is beautiful and strong! When our dad died, we thought we would be supporting and helping her, yet she ended up supporting us! If I could be half as beautiful and kind as she is when I am 60 years old, I would be happy! She inspires us all!

Simple...my twin sister (pictured on the right)...I gain such inspiration from her and the battles she has had to wage and the hurdles she has had to get over. She is my rock and I can only hope she can get just a glimmer from me of what she gives to others...oh my! Thanks for asking.

My Grandma (Memere) was and still is my hero. She lived a very hard life but always had a cheerful spirit. Oh, how I miss her.

my mother who passed away in Jan, 2010. i was a mistake, my siblings were much older. my mother and i were very close til i was in my late 20's. when she needed help, she always called me for help. i took early retirement and moved back to my hometown in 2001 to care for her. she was very giving to others, always volunteering for things. she was a woman of all trades, she did everything.

My mother is the person I'd like to thank for allowing me to flourish into who I am, and for inspiring me to become who I am. She takes care of me since I have a chronic illness, showing me kindness and patience. Like any other mother, she has taught me how to be thankful and how to show gratitude. Finally, as my best friend, she has taught me hugs and laughter are truly the best medicine.

My mom. She's the strongest most compassionate and patient person I've ever met! She would do anything for anyone despite all her health issues. Her family always comes first!
