I'm #thankFULL for both my pets - my dog, Jackson, and my cat, Polly! With Jackson, I'm not sure if I rescued him, or if he rescued me, but I know that unconditional love goes both ways - he loves me even though I'm not thin, beautiful or rich, and I have loved him from the time he moved in and wasn't trained - back when he chewed up many shoes, clothes, and even my eyeglasses. As for Polly, I've never been a cat person, but she was a stray at my sister's apartment complex - the apartment manager was going to call animal control to pick her up if she didn't get a home. Sis called me, and I decided to give her a warm, loving home... I love my "kids"!
