There have been hints of a comeback in recent years but now it is official. The 1980's is the lastest fashion trend.
Yes, the 80's are back - think shoulder pads, leg warmers and Madonna cassette tapes. But whether you lived through it before, or you were not around to be a witness, there are several ways you can get into the style, without going over the top. Read on to find out how.
Plus, tell us your favorite - or least favorite - '80s look and you'll have the chance to win an '80s Candy Gift Box, full of delicious retro memories, including Bottle Caps, Lemonheads & Wax Fangs!
Demin jackets, especially acid washed, were all the rage. And to make them even more personal, they were lovingly decorated with patches and spray paint. Luckily, personal style is also big in 2017. Feel free to rock your denim jacket - and even add a little bling.
Leggings are fine, but not the kind that has a strap that slips beneath your foot. No reason for your pants to get tucked in to your high-tops anymore.
In the '80s, brighter was better. It was important to attract attention and make a statement. We should follow that direction and not be afraid to shine! But this year, try keeping it to just one piece, and not the entire outfit.
Everything was more intense in the '80s, so it's no surprise that the make-up was too, especially the eye shadow which came in shades of blue, purple and pink - sometimes all of those colors at once. Brightly colored make-up is still used now, which is great, but this time it could be a little more blended and a lot more subtle.
Back then, we cut sweatshirts at just the right width, so that it could drape over one shoulder. Of course, a ton of plastic jewelry was then the perfect accessory. You can still wear dresses and shirts that have a fun off-the-shoulder look. Just try to avoid scissor marks and that mountain of jelly bracelets.
No explanation needed.

My favorite is big hair! I have big naturally curly hair and I love wearing it that way!
I'm enjoying the return of the '80's. It triggers great memories! The style was bright, innovative and all about fun. Big, wild hair, bright neon colors, plastic jewelry, re purposing thrift store clothes into your own style, upbeat songs with no hidden meaning ("Mickey", "Wake me up before you go-go", "Walk like an Egyptian"...). Some of the styles were heinous, but wow did we have a good time!!! :)
Oh gosh the '80's! I am glad the Jelly shoe fad is gone. Who remembers those? And leather beaded moccasins? The jelly shoes did not offer good support and got sticky in the heat. And did I love my Hairspray and Charlie Angel's Farrah Fawcett Feathered Hairstyle! It was so vogue and cool at the time! All the girls had feathered hair....
love the music and denim jackets never wore that much makeup and i love leg warmers in the winter
Stir up pants and big hair need to stay back in the "80"'s
Happy to see the neon colors coming back, loved those back in the day!
Love the denim jackets - so American and love to see it around the world!
I love neon colors.
i think my least favorite 80's look is the short lace gloves that Madonna used to wear. I mean really what was the point of that it was just ugly especially when paired with black leather and bustiers.
I love neon colors!
Neon is awesome!
I loved the 80"s. Boy I wish I could back (just for a weekend!!!). The music, the make-up, the hairstyle and fashion was everything. Stirrup pants with a off the shoulder sweater, and vibrant colorful eye shadow and teased hair meant that you were going out with friends on the prowl!
Least favorite is the high permed rock-hard hairstyles!

I love the bright colors and big hair, as long as it's not too big and overdone!
