prepare as much food ahead of time ao you can spend more time with guests
I pre chop everything the days before and freeze them till the morning of. I also make sure I have my cooler clean and ready for ice and drinks to save fridge real estate. I tweeted, thanks.
My survival tip is DON'T go Black Friday shopping
Don't stress yourself and if u can't make things buy store bought products and put your twist on them for the TA DA part and why not put on soft music or music that fits the holidays for your guests and aromatic candles for that cozy feeling when guests come in they'll love it
Make things a say ahead if u could and make a list with things to make and need
My holiday survival tip is to shop early if you can. That way you aren't running around at the last minute trying to get everything accomplished.
My holiday survival tip is to take the time to enjoy your family at the holidays. Your kids would rather remember spending quality time with you, then that mom was so busy during the holidays that we barely saw her.
DEFINITELY plan ahead and if you are inviting friends and family over, have each of them bring a dish or dessert with them. Its better to have too much than not enough! ;) Also, find out if anyone has Allergies to any kind of food before you start cooking! That's my #HolidaySurvival tips
Let the kids do the decorating. It gives them something fun to do, be proud of and helps keep them busy. Also use paper plates for a quicker clean-up when the meal is done.
Y To make things less stressful if you are hosting at your house ask other family members to bring side dishes and/or a dessert. You can then focus on the main course and maybe one side dish and/or a dessert. Plus most people are willing to help if you just ask.
The best thing about the holidays is family, no matter how stressing all the prep, travel or anything else is the reward in the end makes up for everything! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Enjoy your family you may not have for the next holiday season lost my mom to cancer thanksgiving was her favorite holiday so peace everyone
Spend time with your family and enjoy it. Put gifts and gift giving on the back burner. It's not about all of that in the long run. The moments you have with your family are the memories that will last a lifetime. Gifts are perishable, your family means so much more!
My holiday survival tips are Family first Be thankful you have what you have and never ever ever forget the pumpkin pie!
My #HolidaySurvival Tip would be to remember in all the holiday hustle you need some you time! #Treatyourself Go get that hair cut you've been dying to try, that manicure you put off for a week, spend some quality time with a book & a hot bath. Relax if only for an hour, hopefully ;)
