I have been determined to not get into any election talk on FB, I am appaulled at the way adults are treating each other over personal beliefs. Defriending "friends" because they wont vote your candidate is insane!
What if Hillary sweeps the electoral college and Trump wins the popular vote?
What if Hillary sweeps the electoral college and Trump wins the popular vote?
Have made up my mind and cant discuss with some who have exact opposite of who they will vote for. Frankly I am scared as to who might become president (not my choice).
I don't talk politics with others because it's a touchy subject. But, me & my hubby discuss it and who we're going to vote for.
I hate having to choose on which candidate I dislike and distrust the most. I wish Bernie was still running.
talked about how ridiculous our options are and who else we can vote for!
We mostly talk about Obama care needing to be gone, it's only affordable to those getting it for free, the rest of us that are paying for them to get it free, cannot afford it. It's been a complete mess since inception, we were lied to about what it really was and how it would work. We also talk about Hillary being a crook and we will not be voting for her. Trump may be able to get things back on track, a non-politician might just clean up the messes they have been making. Let's vote for change......Trump!
I do a lot of my own research about the candidates. I believe the media is totally in the tank for the democrats, to an astonishing and right-out-in-the-open degree. It's scary; they are supposed to be reporters of news ony, not advocates for one political party. I discuss my political positions with family and friends openly. I am rational about why I chose who I did to vote for, and that is Trump all the way. We cannot survive more progressive policies without crumbling as a country. Perhaps I would look at the D candidate if it were not Clinton. She has a track record spanning back most of my lifetime, of corruption and deceit and I believe we need someone with a record of success. No one can ever tell me what she succeeded at except marrying Bill Clinton and riding his coattails. One thing Hillary is NOT is a leader. Any woman that would stand by while her man did the things he did and is still doing (supposedly) with other woman has no leadership qualities whatsoever.
I do discuss the upcoming election with my family and some friends and get a lot of my information about the election from the media, the candidates, and the candidates experiences. This election has been so negative for me and I'm so tired of hearing all the attacks on each candidate especially with Donald Trump.
I try not to discuss politics with friends and family, it's just one of those subjects that get to heated on both sides and ends badly. I have discussed with friends/family how awful both the candidates are this upcoming election & have discussed if we will even bother to vote , this is something we are all in agreement on. Also I'm sure after this Monday's debate there will be a lot of discussion again probably talking about how bad and dishonest both candidates are. As for social media - no way will not under any circumstances even make a comment about politics...enough said
My husband I usually talk about election over dinner as we do the same when out with Family or friends. We talk about what we have heard on the News the campaign ads and the hot topics. I don't talk a lot on Social Media about the Election as I do in person. I never tell anyone who I am voting for. I think everyone is entitled to there own opinion and it is their freedom to vote for whom they choose I have know right to comment on that .Is that not suppose o be the best thing about living in America. From the Candidates them selves, the news the debates and news papers and online news stories. The source I trust the most is the Candidates them selves and National news. I believe that they rat each other out and the truth comes out .
I trust CNN for my news The election is really crazy this years some people go crazy if they think you are saying the wrong thing :P
its the only thing on our tv for months!
I talk about it in person a lot, I like to see different point of views
