My daughter started sports early and has learned the importance of playing as a team, teamwork, and about winning and losing. I feel it will help her in every aspect of her life. It builds kids up and gives them strength.

My nieces play softball and one of them also does cheer leading. I support them by giving them rides to practices, games, and competitions frequently. As well going to them when I'm not giving them a ride. :)

My neighbor was an extremely shy kid. She was always so sweet and I babysat her during my High school years. The summer before High school she wanted to join the Girl's Lacrosse team but she didn't have the money or the experience for training. We woke up everyday at 7AM to go to the nearby field to practice drills and technique. After many hot days of hard work and dedication, she went to tryouts. Today she is a Senior in High school and one of there top players. I am so proud of her!!!

My son was always the kind of awkward kid in class. a little clumsy, so sometimes he got picked on. but I have been putting him in sports such as track and field, karate, and football. He has especially taken to football, and now comes home from school saying he played football at recess with the kids at school and telling me about all the fun he had playing. He no longer comes home with a frown!

I love how soccer has made my son feel a part of something good, shows teamwork, and he has fun! My brothers were great motivators and examples for my boys :-)
