I am extremely proud of my mom who just graduated nursing school this week. She had her pinning cermony last night, and I couldn't be anymore proud of her. I am extremely blessed to have the hard working mother that I have!
I will love it for reaaal :)
Recently we went out of town and stopped at a place to eat. While eating there, a women came through the door with her son that was in a wheelchair. We were sitting eating and my son got up to help the lady and hold the door. It made me happy because I feel like I taught him good and didn't even need to tell him to go open the door. My son is a teenager and you know how teenagers can be sometimes. It was something small but to me meant so much.
My mom moment came yesterday when I was talking to my hubby on the phone and it dawned on me how lucky I was to be able to stay at home with my kids
my granddaughter just made me a great grandma, so happy to be able to be one, since my mom passed on to be with the lord. I miss her every day, but being a mom is special so I will cherish every waking moment with my child, grand-children and the very special great granddaughter.
My daughter just got her "level 3" back at school. She is autistic and bipolar and goes to a private special ed school. The Level 3 gives her more rewards each day and gives her more privileges. She was so proud to show me her level 3 pass and I'm so proud that she earned it with her good behavior and learning how to behave properly in school.
My daughter is 3 years old and the teachers in her daycare tell me that she is the nicest child they have ever had. When ever any child is upset, she is the first one to go over comfort them and say it will be ok. I am always impressed by her maturity and kindness.
My mom was my best friend & mentor. I adored her more than anyone in the world. She had amazing strength & courage and always treated everyone with kindness & respect. She didn't believe in talking badly about anyone even if someone had done something to wrong her. Her ability to forgive and forget indiscretions against her was unbelievable. I lost my mother 23 years ago at age 49 to cancer, she courageously battled the disease for 15 years & remained positive the entire time and never felt sorry for herself or questioned why it was happening to her. She lived every day to the fullest and her zest for life and kind heart touched every person she ever met.
I have the best mom in the world she's so kind and caring she raised us four girls and a lot of other children that needed a home she's my shoulder to cry on my best friend to tell secrets to she suffers health wise everyday but she still keeps a smile on her face I'd do anything to hand her this bracelet and tell her how much of a wonderful person she truly is
I love watching my kids grow and mature each day.My son hit his first homerun lastnight and seeing him so happy made me very happy as a mother ;)
definitely proud watching daughters graduate from high school, college, get into pharmacy school - but the proudest I ever was happened a few years ago when my brother called me to tell me that he saw my daughter at a high school basketball game and she came and spoke to him - and he wanted to let me know that my two daughters are always considerate and kind and go out of their way to speak to and greet family and friends whenever they may see them; instead of ignoring them like most teenagers do.
My 5 year old daughter played without prejudice or question with a child with special needs. Instead of commenting on her leg braces, she said she liked her shirt
My mom is very special because she works a full time job raising my 3 brothers from home and my youngest brother (7) whom has down syndrome. My father is rarely home due to having to work 80 hours a week to take care of our family. Never have I heard her complain and she is the strongest woman I know.
I am proud of my mother for achieving her dream of becoming a nurse. My mother was a single mom of four and managed to put herself through nursing school while taking care of us. She worked two full time jobs to my amazement and always kept clothes on our back and food in our mouths. My mother inspired me to be the best mom I can be and showed me what true strength and determination looks like.
Since the age of 22, I have been pregnant three times, with one surviving baby. My mother was there at the hospital with me each and every time, for each baby. She has been the most supporting person in my life, and not just in the hospital room. She has been there for me through every trial and obstacle in my life, and I dont know what I would do without her.
