I Tweeted and my favorite messy meal to make is lasagna, the best kid mess is when the oldest, 8 years old, helps make it. We make EVERYTHING from scratch and we have a blast doing it. Noodles, sauces, everything we love it.

My favorite messy meal recipe is Meatball Subs. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Combine a pound of ground beef with 3/4 cup of chopped onions, 1/2 cup of bread crumbs, an egg, a tablespoon of Italian season, 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese, a teaspoon of salt, a teaspoon of pepper. Mix well and roll into a large meatball. Bake meatballs until cooked thoroughly. Warm a jar of pasta sauce in a saucepan. Place cooked meatballs in sauce and stir. Lay meatballs on an Italian sub roll and cover in more sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese. Place sub in oven untill cheese is melted and bread is toasted, Serve and enjoy with plenty of Bounty on hand.

Spaghetti! My daughter used to "paint" with the sauce and one time my son flipped his bowl on to the top of his head and laughed and said now I have long hair like you. Spaghetti has always been our favorite meal and it's always a messy dinner then bath night lol

We spent a really long time making a complicated German Chocolate pie recipe. When my husband took it out of the oven, he dropped in upside down onto the floor. What a mess and we didn't get our pie! Never made it since.

My favorite messy meal recipe is home made cinnamon rolls/my favorite messy kid story is when my son was about 4. I was getting him in his car set and I noticed that he woundnt separate his hands. To my surprise when I opened his hands to see what he was hiding he had an egg in his hand it cracked in the car and oh what a messy mess that was.

one time I was putting a casserole in the oven and I spilled it all over the oven door, floor, it was everywhere-even in between the glass and the metal of the oven door. The funniest messy kid story would be when my daughter microwaved store bought cookies to warm them up, and she pushed 15 mins not 15 seconds. what a smell and mess to wipe out of the microwave.
