One time I have been in need of batteries is when the power went during a thunderstorm and the batteries in the flashlight were dead. We had some extra batteries in the house, but they were kinda of hard to find in the dark.

My daughter is getting older, and all the toys she loves for her age bracket are battery-powered, including her LeapPad! We never have enough AAs to keep it all running, even with the rechargeable ones we buy!

We had an ice storm last winter and couldn't have made it without Duracell batteries! We lost power for 2 days and lived off of flashlights!!
Specially when I was a kid, sometimes I received gifts (toys) and they forget to give me the batteries. So it was really disapinted. So now as an adult I STOCK UP WITH DURACELL BATTERIES and see their smileys always.
Most recently I gave a gift of a remote controlled spider! I forgot the batteries, luckily his parents had a stock pile!!!
