I tend to use canned pumpkin (is this a horrible thing??) I have a really great recipe for pumpkin bars and then we have carved several pumpkins and will eat the seeds.

The pumpkin soup thing actually sounds kind of interesting to me. I haven't tried that. I've tried pumpkin pie though! I could go for a fat slice about now. ^_^

Can't wait to try pumpkin soup... I always keep the tradition of baking pumpkin seeds with secret seasonings on top
