I purposely did not read any of the above comments yet, as I wanted to come up with my own idea of Fall-ish scents. I will go back and read the comments when I am done with my comment............. The smell of pumpkin reminds me of Fall......... The smell of the air and the trees after a fresh sprinkling of rain reminds me of Fall........... The smell of fireplaces burning in the distance remind me of Fall........... Gingerbread and cranberry remind me of Fall and Winter........ The smell of apples reminds me of Fall............. The smell of spices -- cinnamon and nutmeg -- remind me of Fall.......... The smell of comfort foods slow cooking on the stove remind me of Fall.......... One easy way to change the décor is with candles, plants, flowers and seasonal wreaths, which I love!

Pumpkin spice, apples and cinnamon, or even apples alone, are scents that remind me of fall. This is my favorite time of year. I love the rich reds and oranges of the leaves when they turn, so I like to use those colors throughout our home.

I love the smell of apple spice for fall...whether it's in cooking or candles or air spray...and I change my tablecloths from summer fabrics/colors to darker, autumn-hued colors.

Apple and pumpkin remind me of fall! The smell of pumpkin or apple pie baking in the oven, apple turnovers or caramel apples. Chowders and chilis also remind me of fall. Those rich, savory flavors are blooming this time of year!

My favorite smell is the aroma a fall leaves being burnt. I always decorate our deck with pumpkins and mums.

Apple pie, pumpkin, warm vanilla and carmel remind me of fall. It is my favorite season so I love to decorate with silk flowers and leaves from Michaels and those assorted pumpkis you get at the grocery store.

Apples, cinnamon and baking cookies always reminds me of fall.

Pumpkin, apples, leaves are all my favorite Autumn scents. To prepare my house for fall, I have a fall themed wreath that gets hung on my front door. I put decorative pumpkins, gourds, leaves and acorns in clear vases, on the fireplace mantle, in my bay window and on shelves throughout the main living area of my house that remain in place from mid-Sept through Thanksgiving.

Cinnamon, Apples, Anything Pumpkin..sigh all the lovely smells of fall. How we change our decor to fall is mainly just packing all the summer stuff away getting out our throws, and jackets. Changing out the outside ornamentals as well .
