Families can enjoy anything and everything from shell collecting in Sanibel to meeting astronauts at the Kennedy Space Center. And let's not forget theme parks. Florida has some of the biggest and best, including Disney."

"If you are looking for a quiet spot to spend time as a family, but with plenty to see & do, take a gander at Beaufort, South Carolina. This sleepy town is so picturesque that Hollywood has used it as the backdrop for such films as “The Prince Of Tides” and “Forest Gump”, and while there are many lovely cafes, bakeries, chocolateries, coffee shops, and restaurants in the district, you won’t find a Starbucks or a McDonalds in town."

"I love looking for off-season bargains when traveling. There's nothing like getting luxury accommodations for a fraction of the cost, so my recommendation would be to visit a wonderful all-inclusive resort in Playa del Carmen or Cancun. cmessias | CHERRY HILL, NJMy favorite thing to do during the summer is nothing at all. I'm a teacher and it is a very short time for me (less than two months). I love that fact that my boys and I are not on any schedule. Wake up, relax, go to the pool, library, or any daytrip. I also love to cook so it gives me so much more time to enjoy cooking rather than always rushing home from work, getting dinner on the table and then rushing out to activities. On the weekends when my husband is home we have family time. Sometimes you just need to slow down and enjoy the moment.

Some of the best vacations I have ever been on were to Orlando, Fl, Bryson City, NC, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, New Orleans, La and my personal favorite, Holden Beach, NC. Orlando, Fl is jam packed with exhilerating adventure that you can find at various theme parks! You can find adventerous events such as water rafting & zip lining in Bryson City. New Orleans and Lancaster are two of the most interesting trips ive ever been on and Holden Beach is the perfect beach for some downtime with your family!
