ON A SUNNY SPRING DAY I LIKE TO WORK IN THE YARD AND FEEL THE SPRING BREEZE BLOWING IN MY HAIR!!!
I love morning glories :)
I love irises and tulips - thank you.
I love getting my hands dirty in soil and planting new flowers!
I love to lay out in the sun and have cookouts during a great spring day!
The thing I appreciate the most on a sunny spring day in the city (where gardens are modest and the trees just a bit behind schedule still stood in their leafless stance) is the sublime, unspoken feeling of each person shaking off the isolation of dark winter as they step outside and one by one reform the community. All the little squabbles and hunched, hurried paces that frequent the cold months are replaced by pleasant greetings and appreciative strolls. I love that silent feeling of reconnecting with society, of the collective simple gratitude for the new season. It always makes those sunny spring days the most hopeful of the entire year.
Spring Break with the kiddos!
In the spring time, when we were younger, my brother and i would walk barefoot on the warm grass path that led us to a wooded spot that had honey suckles. We would sip on the sweet necter from the honey suckles and clmb the tall trees till it was time to go home.
having a picnic with my family
One of my favorite spring memories was going fishing with my papo.
On a sunny spring day I like to sit in the park and read a book.
One of my favorite spring moments is sitting out on our porch listening to nature, smelling the flowers in front of our house, and having the breeze lift my hair every now and then.
On a sunny spring day I love to open the windows and let the fresh air into our home. Then our family loves to go to to the park to play and enjoy the great weather.
There is nothing better, in my opinion of course, than curling up with a good book and a big cup of coffee on my porch. I love soaking up the sunshine, hearing the birds singing, and looking at my hydrangeas budding. :)
Love some bright beautiful sunflowers...
