When it comes to the art of gift giving there's so much to consider. How do you come up with an idea?  It's always tricky deciding whether they will like what you have in mind or if they already have it. You may prefer to get a list from people so you can choose something you know they want or perhaps you just pick up on subtle (or not so subtle) hints and make your own. How do you find most of the presents that you give to friends and family? Do you shop at local stores and boutiques, order online, shop at retail stores, order though catalogues or create fabulous homemade gifts?

We'd like to help a little with this season's gift buying and gather the collective experience from SheSpeaks members, gifts you've received that just keep on giving or gifts you've given that have been a huge hit. We'd like to hear them all!

To be entered to win one of our prizes this week, simply create a review for a gift you or your children have received and loved, and please include a recommended age if it is for a child.

If I won the Oral B I would give it to a person who really needs it! His teeth are so bad and he has no dental insurance. He said he likes the electric toothbrush's, but doesn't currently use one.

I reviewed the Leapfrog LeapPad. My kids really like(d) it until someone stepped on it and cracked it. Gotta give them a call and see if they can help us out.

Restaurant gift cards.. When you need to find a gift for the retired people on your list Restaurant Gift cards are great. Retired people are living on a really tight fixed income which means they don't get to enjoy much eating out, a $50 gift card means at least 2 meals out for them. Or buy 2 different $25 cards. This also works for people with young kids and throwing in a free babysitting is even better..

MUK LUKS Women's Muk Luks Nordic Toggle Boot These are some of my most favorite house shoes! They have memory foam in the soles, and the soles are rubber enough to walk outside to get the mail, but not so hard that you feel like you are wearing real boots. My only complaint is that they are a little big around the leg at the top... but they tighten above the ankle so they don't slide down. Very warm!

Kindle Wi-Fi, 6" E Ink Display I Purchased this Kindle for my 15 year old to use at school rather than purchase books in print. I was so impressed with the easy to read screen and light weight that I "borrow" it on the weekends for my own use! This device is an excellent value $ 80 and I highly recommend it.

Cooking in Everyday ENGLISH, Todd English has created a cookbook that produces some great dishes with ingredients that are ones that you would have purchased every day at the grocery store. Most dishes have only 10 or less ingredients and are relatively easy to prepare, especially for an experienced cook. English lists his pantry ingredients and his kitchen equipment and then gives some instructions to make his `basics'. His basics are some combinations of salt, vinaigrettes, butters, spice blends and several others. The recipes in this book are simple recipes, but create fantastic dishes. This would be a good book for a gift for beginning cooks who would like to improve their repertoire.

A gift that is always sure to please is a gift card. I have never seen anyone disappointed to receive a gift card. The recipient can choose exactly what they want, and even get more for their money by shopping those after Christmas sales!

My family and I received a food gift basket from my boss. The basket had many items such as nuts, preserves, fruit and candy however, what we enjoyed the most was the Kosher Rugelach. It was quite a treat!
