Where does the time go! Summer is over, school is back in session and the holidays are quickly approaching.

For many (if not all) of us, time passes way too quickly and we can easily put our jobs and our families ahead of our own health and peace of mind.

We're not saying ignore the kids, let your spouse fend for himself, or start slacking off at work. But, we want to make sure you're also making some time for yourself and that you don't leave it to January 2012. Fall is a perfect time to reboot, the weather is cooler for an outdoor jog or stroll and it’s easy to picture your renewed, fitter self in a few months, at a holiday party or family gathering.

So let's start today!

We all know it’s not just about diet. When was the last time you got a good night's sleep? Had a great workout? Or got a massage? Do you have an endless To-Do list that’s keeping you from taking a walk? Do you want to try yoga, boxing or P90X?

Well this week, SheSpeaks wants to help give you some tips and a friendly boost to Reboot Your Body. And, we're enlisting the SheSpeaks community to help with their collective wisdom and cheerful advice. So, we're asking each of you to share your tip, your words of wisdom, whatever you've learned along the way that has helped you and might help someone else!

Comment on this blog post below with your words of wisdom and enter to WIN one of the  items below that will help you Reboot Your Body Today! The contest starts Thursday, September 22nd and ends midnight EST Tuesday, September 27th.

Here’s a tip from a member of the SheSpeaks team:

If you’re looking to lose weight, the “My Fitness Pal” app on the iPhone is ridiculously helpful. You enter how much you weigh now, how much you want to weigh and it will tell you how many calories you can intake a day and track it. Enter everything you eat each day (as specific as the Cosi signature salad) and whatever exercise you do and it will tell you how many calories you ate, how many you have left (if any) and exactly how much you would weigh in 5 weeks if you keep doing what you’re doing. It’s a great way to know exactly where the weight is coming from and how to lose it!

And these are the prizes!

Zumba Fitness Total Body Transformation DVD System (over $50)

Gaiam Total Body Balance Ball Kit

Omron HJ-112 Digital Pocket Pedometer

YogaAccessories 1/4” Extra Thick Deluxe Yoga Mat

Good Luck!

I always make time to workout. Even if it's just for 30 minutes and I don't really feel like it. It always makes me recharged and I know I'm making my body stronger and stronger for a better quality of life!

I think eating small meals 5-6 times a day helps to keep my metabolism and mood on the up & up. Eating smaller meals keeps your body constantly fueled, without making you drowsy, and it actually helps when it comes time to face the scale! You just gotta watch those portions. :)

I try to eat as many foods as possible that fuel my body with natural energy, like spinach.

For me, I need total quiet. No tv, radio, or other electronic device to "distract" me. I then make myself a cup of tea and sit on the couch and just enjoy the moment. I like to watch the birds outside, so I make sure I am by the window. I feel so rejuvenated after my quiet time that I am ready for the day.

Many things will give you a boost...it depends on a quick one or a total reboot....for a quick reboot and little stretching can re-energize your body.....a nice cup of herb tea will quickly restore and reboot the soul....and just as little as 15 minutes of meditation will reboot the soul. Each individual works differently for different times and needs of the reboot...TOTAL reboot for longer periods may include a mini vacation or time away by yourself to truly go inside yourself and restore the parts, both physically and mentally, in order to become an "on track" and "ready for anything" you. You will need to explore and learn how to get YOUR total reboot by listening to your inner you and fulfill the need your body, mind and soul are telling you. Good luck and here is to your wellness!!

The best way to recharge my body and recharge my mind and my soul is Yoga. Meditation as well. I notice a huge shift in my ability to deal with life in general when I'm not constantly practicing either or both. Its amazing how just time to calm down, ground yourself a bit - can also recharge you!

I think a great Body Re-Boot tip is to join a weekly class at the gym and make a friend. That way, you feel committed to meet your friend every week and are less likely to skip out on class. It's a great way to be healthy AND sociable!

I joined a martial arts class with my son and husband. Not only are we all getting into shape, we are doing it as a family and having a blast while doing it. Everybody offers encouragement and the atmosphere is super positive. We are also learning about setting goals and how to push ourselves when we think we can't do it. I like this because, unlike the gym, I can't make excuses not to go. It keeps me focused.

Measure your portions. It's way too easy to eat too much- even of a good thing! Gives you a reaity check that will reboot your intake to a healthy level.

Re-Boosting or Re-engerzing myself is a must, I usually start with a mini at-home spa treatment...facial mask, pedi/mani...then i fell in love with the HOT/COLD shower method I experienced at my local SPA, I heat up and open my pores and have a good sweat..then go COLD and it gets me exhilarated and I have a surge of energy you wouldn't believe. I also love the way the HOT/COLD makes my skin feel...soft & hydrated....and now that I have Cerra.com, I take time to have a "Moment" and just let in relax me.... Ahhhhh....I really loved all the ideas!!

The thing that always seems to rejuvenate me is a day out with girlfriends. It doesn't matter what we do, there's just something about being around other strong and independent women that inspires me and reminds me how important it is to make time for myself. As a single mom I'm always so busy and worried about taking care of my son, I forget how important it is to also take care of me.

I decided last monday to lose weight, and have lost 4 pounds so far!!! I dance to the dance party 2 on my Wii! I dance for one hour, 5 times a week. It is a lot of fun, and it works great! It is the most fun i have ever had working out! Just remember to warm up before & after. I have 3 dance party wii games now, and will probably get more! And because you are working out, your body will crave more food. I love kashi bars, and other healthy snack bars. But kashi is high fiber, so very filling. I am now eating more & losing weight! And the best part-target has coupons on their website for $5 off mosismo clothes & $5 morino bottoms, so I have gotten free shorts & jeans (on clearance) to wear when I lose more weight!!!
