If you could help build a better community with just one change, what would you do? Knowing that not everyone has money to support the many causes they care about, Tom’s of Maine has created the 50 States for Good program!

As part of this year’s campaign, they’re inviting anyone to share their #OneWayToHelp their community for a chance to select a local nonprofit to receive funding. This year, Tom’s of Maine is awarding more funding than ever – more than $1 million in total – with $20,000 going to a nonprofit organization in every state and Washington D.C.!

I volunteer at a local food pantry on food days, and also help in the Thrift Shop to help make money to buy the food for our community needs. I guess I would try to expand on what I am already doing .

I would start a much needed community garden. We tend to get lost in the fast past world of ready to order meals and technology that the art of growing our own food had become foreign to most people. Every community deserves a garden and every child should know how to plant one.
