SheSpeaks Community Survey: Continue the Conversation!
Share Tweet
This week, we sent out a SheSpeaks Community Survey to learn more about you, our members. Thanks to all who took it - we were excited to read all that you had to say.

Check out some of the results and continue the conversation below. Then enter for the chance to win $50 to get started on your dreams!

How we are Feeling

Though most of you would like things to improve in your life, it was great to see that the majority of you still consider yourself happy and that you find your life fulfilling. We especially loved learning how many of you would like to have an impact on the world!
Tell us more: What do you want to improve about your life? What do you find fulfilling?

Our Dreams & Motivation

Many of us have dreams of personal enrichment projects that we've started or would like to start, though we sometimes have difficulty finding the energy to get started.
Tell us more: What personal enrichment projects would you like to start - or have you started?

Women Supporting Women

43% of you said that women are supportive of other women most of the time and 54% said they are supportive sometimes but not often. Our members feel that women are most supportive of each other in their personal life and less supportive in politics or at their work or job.
Tell us more: How have you felt supported by other women?

Social Media

We look to social media to connect with friends and family, to be entertained, to pass the time and to keep up-to-date on news and current events.
Tell us more: Why do you use - or not use - social media?

Let's continue the conversation! Enter to win $50 to get started on your dreams!

I do use social media- I use it too much. I get sucked in all too easy. I want to do it to see my friends and family but instead I get caught up in all the drama of everything going on right now.

Social media is a way I connect with family and friends.  I like to know local events. And keep in touch with volunteer groups I participate in.

Getting to talk with friends and family through social media has been a great distraction and now getting more hopeful.

I use social media to stay connected to my customers, reach out to family, and to speak out about important issues/share my story in an effort to raise awareness for mental illnesses.

I use social media in a very limited way. I am a very private person and I prefer to keep my personal life offline. I do use social media to keep up with trending topics, to enter contests, to support causes I believe in and other activities that do not involve me posting my life details.

There are days when I have had my fill of social media. There are days when there is so much negativity, nasty remarks and so many untruths. When you read something on social media, I think you need to fact check what is stated.

I feel that many women today support more women than they did many years ago. However, I still feel that some women bosses are not as compassionate and understanding as they need to be. When I was working I had many women bosses and they were not supportive at all. Many favored men over women.  I still don't understand how many women can support someone that is not supportive of woman and has been known to harass women. I never felt supported by my former women bosses. I don"t know if it was because I was more educated than they were, my religion or just jealousy. I feel that there needs to be a lot more progress in women supporting women in many areas, not just the work environment.

I belong to a certain Facebook group consisting of all women and we gift each other things on our Amazon Wishlists. More often than not, I do it secretly without the other woman knowing who bought those items she so desperately needed/wanted. It's always a nice surprise receive a package with a smile, especially during these troubling times.
