Quick and Healthy Marinara Sauce

Makes: 4 Servings

Description: Healthy Marinara Sauce Even Your Kids Will LOVE! I have never had a child complain about "chunks ". When my kids were little I would either make bigger chunks of garlic to pick out or chop it so tiny they couldn't see it. This is easily multiplied and can be frozen into individual servings. Also great for calzones, mozzarella sticks, and other recipes requiring marinara sauce.

Ingredients:
4 tbsp  olive oil
4 cloves  chopped garlic
1 28oz Can  Furmano's crushed tomatoes
4  bay leaves
1/4 tsp  crushed red pepper
1/4 tsp  salt

Instructions: 1.On med-high, sauté the garlic in large non stick sauce pan or skillet until the edges of the garlic start to brown.
2.Turn burner to low and add the crushed tomatoes slowly while also stirring with a wooden spoon.
3.Once you have the crushed tomatoes, olive oil, and garlic combined well, stir in the salt and crushed red pepper.
4. Stack the bay leaves together and break in half over the sauce and then drop in and stir.
5. Cover with a tight fitting lid.
6. Start boiling water for your pasta, cook as directed. Once your pasta is finished cooking, your sauce will be ready too!
