Alright for the price I used this conditioner for years through college due to the quality for the price. At the time, my hair was not color treated. There is no strong smell with this conditioner and it works alright. I still had a fair number of split ends and regularly used leave-in conditioners. John Frieda products can be found a number of places which is convenient. I have noticed there are deeper conditioners available in a similar price range which is why I would not necessarily recommend this product.

Daughter's ALL-TIME FAVORITE HAIR CONDITIONER My college age daughter has been using this Brilliant Brunette Conditioner BY JOHN FRIEDA ever since i used a coupon for it ( around $9.00 ) about a year ago.. She has Mid-Length deep brown color hair .. and feels like it brings out some natural highlights .. something she has NEVER stated with ANY other hair product... so i will continue to buy it even without a coupon NOW...
