Did you know that two in five women struggle to purchase period products due to lack of income? This can lead to instances of missing work, school or similar events due to lack of access to period supplies. Women also report feelings of embarrassment, disappointment and depression.
To help end period poverty, U by Kotex became the founding sponsor of the Alliance for Period Supplies in 2018. With the support of retail partners like Walmart, U by Kotex has donated more than 50 million period products to-date to the Alliance for Period Supplies and its allied programs.
How You Can Help:
SheSpeaks is excited to partner with U by Kotex and Walmart to share how you can help end period poverty. You can take action by purchasing your U by Kotex products at Walmart between 8/3-11/3. Your purchase of any U by Kotex product will spark a donation to support even more individuals in need of help. Learn more by visiting https://smarturl.it/UbyKotex

Love the concept of this! Not everyone can afford these necessary personal hygiene items. We need to have health insurance cover these essential items. There is no way around this .

It's time to end the struggle of all women for products that are a necessity of life. This isn't optional! Especially for women in jail, disabled, and disadvantaged women.
