Makes: 12 halves
Description: This recipe is so simple, and the perfect addition to a Memorial Day cookout!
Ingredients:
6
peaches
1/4 cup
brown sugar
4 tbsp
cinammon
Instructions:
Take fresh whole peaches, wash skins thoroughly, and cut the peaches into halves.
Remove peach pits.
In a bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon to your taste.
Lightly dip each peach, cut side down, into the brown sugar and cinnamon mix.
Place peaches, cut side down, on a hot grill. Grill for 5-7 minutes, then gently turn the peaches over.
With the cut side up, liberally sprinkle the remaining brown sugar and cinnamon mixture over the peaches, so that the indent from the pit is partially full.
Grill with cut side up for an additional 5-7 minutes, until peaches are soft and sugar is carmalized.
Serve peaches hot, pairs well with ice cream (chocolate especially).
