What better way to celebrate a day of love then with something sweet? Our members offer simple recipes that will bring fun and romance to the table this February 14th - or every day you want to enjoy some romance!

Try these for yourself:

Red Velvet Valentine's Day Heart Cake
This Valentine themed dessert comes from SheSpeaks member CupcakesandCrossbones. Her finished product looks like something you might find in a high-end bakery. The recipe for the cake is from scratch and calls for the standard ingredients you would use to make a red velvet cake. If you prefer to use boxed cake mix, that would work great too! Pillsbury Valentine's Funfetti Vanilla Frosting tops it off. Use heart-shaped cookie cutters to make designs. Definitely one to try for a cute centerpiece dessert.

Valentine’s Jello Shots

Nothing says you’re in for a fun night like a round of Jello shots. The wobbly red heart recipe is brought to us by SheSpeaks member EuropeanCutie and calls for just 3 very simple ingredients; gelatin dessert mix, boiling water and vodka. She poured her Jello-shot concoction into a silicon heart-shape mold tray to cool.

Chocolate Raspberry Pastry Bundles
Not only do these look absolutely delectable, they are so simple to make. SheSpeaks member HeartTransplantMom submitted this recipe and says, “These easy to make, bite-sized pastries are the perfect romantic compliment to your Valentine's Day dinner!” All you will need to make these little bundles of goodness are a bar of Hershey’s Dark chocolate, raspberry preserves and a tube of Pillsbury Crescent Roll Dough.

Mexican Hot Chocolate Cake
Add a little spice to the night with this recipe for Mexican Hot Chocolate Cake. The dash of cinnamon and chili powder are what make the flavor really pop in this cake. SheSpeaks member Tiffanysblogs submitted this cake recipe that she says, “tastes just like Mexican hot chocolate.” Lucky for us, the recipe is simple and calls for boxed cake and a tub of chocolate frosting. Add spices to the frosting and wow your partner.
