Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings Are Not Only For Cinderella

It's Wedding Season!  Every woman dreams about her wedding most of her life.  As a little girl you imagine the day you get dressed up like a princess and walk down the isle to your prince charming.  It's the closest experience to a fairytale for a woman.

Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.  More than 40,000 couples have married at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland and aboard Disney Cruise Line since Fairy Tale Weddings began in 1991.

In celebration of the 20th anniversary, a specially priced wedding package, the Memories Collection, has been created at Walt Disney World Resort.  Priced at $1,991 in honor of the 1991 opening year of Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings.  The Memories Collection includes up to six guests, including the couple, a floral bouquet for the bride, solo violinist, transportation {three hour limousine charter} and a professional photographer for one hour.

Elegant and elaborate princess themed weddings where you arrive in Cinderella's carriage is always an option.  However, not all Disney themed weddings take place at Cinderella's castle in Magic Kingdom.  Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings also has a nice modern way of doing things if you are looking for something simple and chic.  They truly know how to make a girl's dream come true!

I personally have a thing for beach weddings.  The ocean is just so beautiful and peaceful.  Combining your wedding with a Disney Cruise is a great way to add in the honeymoon with ease.  Disney's Cruise Line offers weddings onboard as well as beachside at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay.  Leave all the details to Disney to cover, including the setup and take down.  The Bride and Groom are only required to enjoy their day!

Disney Fairy Tale Weddings even has their very own Facebook app where couples can announce their wedding date, track RSVP's and share the wedding journey with their family and friends including resort information and itinerary.  You can read more about it on the Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings Facebook Page.  In December 2010, Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons launched Ever After Blog, the first Disney blog outside of the Disney Parks Blog.  Brides can view the latest trends, compare the wedding packages and even see photos of all things Disney wedding from cakes, dresses and decor.  I'll admit I got lost on the Ever After Blog for well over an hour browsing all the beautiful wedding ideas.

A Disney wedding isn't complete without a dress fit for a princess.  Alfred Angelo teams up with Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings to bring brides everywhere the Disney Princess-Inspired wedding dress collection.  This highly anticipated collection is already a best seller in stores at an affordable price.

The collection is inspired by the style and personality of seven iconic Disney Princess characters: Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Snow White and Tiana.  With each gown, brides can showcase their personal style. The collection includes classic, grand ball gowns in layers of tulle and sparkle net, updated fit and flare styles to highlight curves and movement, and pleated and wrapped bodices to flatter the bride’s figure.

When you think about planning your wedding or when you look back on your wedding, which do you feel is/was most important... the wedding dress or the wedding location?
