I don't know maybe my dog is not sized right?!? Kinda like his owner nothing quite fits him properly it's either to short on his torso or to big in his chest area. Since he only weighs a whopping 4.5lbs I don't think it is because he is fat. I try xxs and xs for him both did not seem right his rear was way to much uncovered. Since we live in Michigan and I am a mean mom who shaves him down to well almost nothing he needs to cover most of his torso if possible. So even though they are sweet designs and not like the "normal" doggie sweaters well I have to say I had to return mine for a normal one so my baby would not be to cold up here in Michigan. Other areas where it is just for looks I would have kept it but I needed it for function and looks.
