Precious is a movie based on the book Push by Sapphire
Precious is an excellent movie, with a great cast who pulled out some very surprising performances. The cast was made up of some big names as well as 1st time actress Gabourey 'Gabby' Sidibe. The movie dealt with so many issues: teenage pregnancy, incest, family dysfunction, illiteracy, homosexuality, hopelessness, most of which are very difficult to read about and equally as difficult to watch. Monique pulled out an award worth performance. This movie is not for the faint of heart, but I recommend everyone go see it.

I can not wait to see this movie and I have not yet read the book. I have just heard about it a few months ago. I do plan on getting the book and seeing the movie.

i agree this movie seems deep and from the trailers i can see that its serious acting and that i'll enjoy it when i do get around to seeing it. And as far as Monique, i am looking forward to her performance as well and i'm sure she won't dissapoint since the trailers with he gave me chills. Can't wait.

I absolutly loved the movie.everytime you about to cry they take you out and cheer you up..its shocking and sadly real.. It gives hope for even the worst cases and makes your problems seem so small. A must see One of the best tyler perry movies, even tho it wasnt his story.Even mariah Carey had a good perfomance in their.

I saw this movie, it was AWSOME!!!! The story line is heavy and makes you appreciate your family dynamic. It was sad, eyeopening, shocking, and sadly true. But it was a good movie
