Makes: 4 Cups
Description: This is such a delicious alternative to noodles! It has a wonderful flavor and does not make you feel "stuffed" after eating like carbs do.
Ingredients:
1 Medium
Spaghetti Squash
1 T
Olive Oil
to taste
salt, pepper and garlic
Instructions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Warm squash in microwave for 3 minutes. Hold squash with a towel and slice in half (squash will be warm and is difficult to split). Remove seeds from the squash. Place squash cut side down in a glass baking dish. Add about one inch of water to dish. Bake for 35 - 40 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes and use fork to scrape the contents to form spaghetti like "noodles'. Season to taste and add your favorite marinara sauce and cheese.
